On November 23, 2008, three hunters reported they had found the remains of a decomposed body on private property on Skyline Drive in the town of Ashford.  On November 23, 2021, the Sheriff’s Office announced that a positive identification of the victim has been confirmed as Amy Marie Yeary, DOB 12-09-1989, from Rockford, IL.  Sheriff’s detectives continue to actively investigate this case, and know that Amy was the victim of human sex trafficking and was in the Beloit, Milwaukee, and Chicago areas in the days preceding her death.  As we continue our investigation; today, we are here asking for the public’s help. If there is anyone who knew Amy Marie Yeary, has knowledge surrounding her death, or knows how or why she would have travelled to southeastern Fond du Lac County in the summer of 2008, we ask that you please come forward.
