Sergeant Victor Schneider started his career with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office in November of 2018 as a Corrections Deputy. In February of 2020 he was promoted to Patrol Deputy. Prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office, Sergeant Schneider was employed as a Community Service Officer and Patrol Officer with the City of fond du Lac Police Department.
Sergeant Schneider joined the United States Marine Corps on active duty shortly after graduating High School in 2010. In 2011 he was deployed to Afghanistan for a seven month deployment. In 2013 he was deployed to the Pacific region on another seven month deployment.
Sergeant Schneider attended Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton where he received an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. He then attended the Fox Valley Technical College Law Enforcement in 2017.
As a Patrol Deputy, Sergeant Schneider worked 3rd shift. Sergeant Schneider served as an FTO for newly hired deputies since 2022. In 2023 he attended Drug Recognition Expert training, becoming certified as a DRE. He was promoted to Patrol Sergeant in July of 2024.
Sergeant Schneider is a SWAT and Dive team member. He also serves as a member of the Honor Guard team and Deputy Reserves.
