The Fond du Lac Sheriff Office promoted Casey Gigstead to the position of Staff Sergeant of Programs in December 2021. Gigstead earned her associate degree through Moraine Park Technical College for Corrections Science in May 2002. Gigstead started her career as a Correctional Officer with the Fond du Lac Sheriff Office in December 2002. In 2007, Gigstead promoted to Sergeant, supervising on second shift until 2017, then supervising first shift in 2018. Gigstead is the Coordinator of the Correctional Officer Training Program. Gigstead was appointed to the Program Sergeant Position in 2019. Gigstead is in charge of the Classification Team, Digital imaging, the jail volunteer programs and is the Medical Liaison.
