Lt. Brennan Wagner began his career in law enforcement in 2008 while attending UW-Milwaukee.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2011 with focuses in computer science and sociology.  Lt. Wagner attended the Law Enforcement Academy at Waukesha County Technical College in 2011.

Brennan is a Fond du lac native and began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in 2013.  During this time, he served as a patrol deputy, field training officer, and crisis intervention officer on all three shifts.  He was promoted to Patrol Sergeant in November of 2019 and served on both first and second shift.  In February of 2023, he was promoted to Lieutenant of Technology, overseeing large projects involving the dispatch center/communications, radio, CAD/RMS, and BWC/fleet cameras.

Brennan currently serves on the SWAT team as the Crisis Negotiation Coordinator .  Additionally, he serves as the assistant team coordinator on the Drone and Mobile Field Force teams.  Brennan is also a member of the Honor Guard team.
